Student Care:
Student safety and health are always our priorities.
Friendly and Caring Teachers:
Homeroom teachers and faculty members are carefully selected based on teaching qualification, experiences, and attitude. All staff members are trained and oriented so that they understand well about school values, policies and procedures in order for them to implement their job effectively.
Facility Designs and Learning Material Selection
Classrooms, labs, learning facilities and support administrative functions are all as you would expect of a world-class international school. All facilities are made for safety and children-friendly to ensure the hygiene and safety of our students.
Safety & Security
Absolutely no unauthorised personnel will be granted access, and all visitors entering the grounds must produce their identification and get a Visitors’ Pass from the Guard Office.
We remind parents that the security procedures exist at the school for the safety of all. Security Guards are unable to exercise flexibility and any failure to adhere to the procedures could result in a parent being refused access to the school premises. Please do not blame the security guards when they enforce the rules.
School Pick-up Card
All parents and designated drivers/domestic helpers are required to carry their Pick-Up Card to school, and show this to the school security at the school entrance. Parents who forget to bring their Pick-Up Card must register at the security gate and present a suitable alternative ID, which contains a photo (for example, ID card or a driver’ s license).
Drivers/domestic helpers who regularly accompany learners to and from school must be registered with the school and be issued on the Pick-Up card. Unregistered drivers/domestic helpers will not be permitted to enter the school grounds. Bodyguards are not permitted in the school buildings without explicit permission from School Director or Operations Manager.
Photographs
From time to time photographs or video clips of our learners may be published to our website or used in publications. If you would not like your child’s image to be used please inform the school management before the start of term.
NO SMOKING
The entire school campus is a designated smoke-free zone. Management, staff, parents, drivers/helpers and suppliers are not allowed to smoke in the school premise.
Meals
We always put health and safety of your child as our top priorities; therefore, meat, vegetables and even ingredients are carefully selected for our lunch and snack menu. We work together with Psar Kruosar, the organic and safety meat and food supplier. We can provide lunch for the children and we are able to accommodate most dietary requirements. However, parents can provide their own lunch for their child if they prefer. Please contact our parent services for Monthly Lunch and Snack menus.

Services to our students are always what we are happy to take care and keep improving.
Transports
The transportation service is set up to provide a comprehensive transport facility, given access to pre-determined locations.
MAKSON’s drivers are highly trained and tested drivers on the road. They are trained specifically for transporting children to and from school.
Meals and Canteen
Meals are served for students whose parents purchase the school lunch and/or breakfast. We also have canteen outlet serving primary students. Meat, vegetables and even ingredients are carefully selected for our lunch and snack menu. We work together with Psar Kruosar, the organic and safety meat and food supplier.

School Uniforms
All learners must wear their school uniforms unless there is a non-uniform day or PE lesson. Learners do not need to tuck in their t-shirts.
Appropriate closed outdoor footwear are acceptable. The school cannot accept responsibility for any injuries caused by the use of inappropriate footwear. Strictly no slippers/sandals/flats or open toe shoes.Learners are encouraged to have at least 2 sets of school uniforms and 2 sets of PE uniform.
Library
MAKSON Library has a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. It strives to help children, young people and the whole school community to find reliable information, use the information effectively, collaborate productively with others. Our library resources consist of collections from Early Years up to Grade 6 with a wide diversity comprising fiction, non-fiction, series, picture books, graphic novels, textbooks and more.
Besides that, our library has subscribed to various databases such as e-books, e-journals, and e-magazines in addition to the physical collections. Moreover, MAKSON Library actively organise events such as Book Week, Visiting Authors, Book Fairs, Workshops which engaging with learners, parents, staff and many more.
Before & After School and Weekend Clubs
To help our students learn more skills as well as assisting parents who have to drop off early and pick up late, MAKSON creates before and after school clubs as below:

Parent Services
We are motivated to communicate with parents in a very professional way, and assist parents doing better parenting.
Parenting Group
We understand that some of our parents are young and/or new to being a parent and parenting. To help our parents with this, we create Parenting group and meet regularly to provide knowledge and skills regarding child care and parenting.
We invite our experts and professionals who experienced in parenting to share experiences and knowledge to our group members.
Parent Workshop
In addition to parenting group, we also organise regular workshops for parents for a variety of topics including parenting, child development and life skills are among the many topics that we will introduce to our parents.
Parent-Teacher Conference
We believe in parent-school relationship which will create better relationships among parents, teachers and students. To allow parents to understand learning progress and behaviour of their child at school, and at the same time teachers can know better about their student behaviours at home, we hold Parent-Teacher conference every term and parents are required meet their child homeroom teacher at least two times per year.
Parent Private Consulting
Parents of MAKSON's students are welcome to make appointment with our director or academic administrator to have a private consulting regarding their challenges in helping their child's learning or parenting issues. Our director and faculty member will give tips and practical advices to make parenting skills better for the parents and/or guardians.
Parent Resources
MAKSON provides tips, advices and resources for parents to assist their child learn better and have improved parenting skills. The resources include documents, videos, articles, and others.
Parent Involvement Activities
MAKSON believe in community of learning and teaching. We are sure parents will help our students better when they understand the school well. In addition, parents can learn from each other good practical experiences so that they can apply to their parenting practices.
To achieve this, we regularly organise school events that parents can attend, sometimes with their lovely kids. The events include movie night, evening talk, coffee with principal, drawing with kids and others.
